So today I am starting this blog that will accompany me accross La Manche in about 10 weeks.
My husband Chris is being transferred to the UK for his work, and so we're taking our little girl Stella out of Paris and into London, where they used strange words such as loo, tube and bloke. Sounds kind of fun.
Is my 1-year old gonna start to speak like that ?

This is us 3 last summer in Seattle!
Anyway, gotta find a house, a school, a cool neighbourhood, some friends, couple of great hangouts, and the less fun stuff like a bank, a cellphone deal, an internet provider and a cable TV deal for soccer games.
But before all of that, I have to sell all my stuff here in Paris, because I am not bringing my car there (way too scary). I also hear that appartments are mostly furnished so I have to get rid of our furniture here.
We're having this serious conflict of interest between the cool areas (Shoreditch) and the family oriented places (no idea where that would be, I heard of stuff like nappy valley but it scares me, does it really exist?). Not ready for the burbs yet (not ever?).
So, you know, I am up for any possible tips about areas where to live in London, and other important stuff such as best websites for events (concerts), best vintage shopping and fun things to do with Stella!
